Promontory 1 Bedroom Suite For Rent
Hi, my name is Matt and I have a brand new one bedroom, one bathroom suite for rent in our home on Promontory in Chilliwack.
The suite is 625 square feet, plus a 225 square foot covered outdoor space. Everything inside is new, with the exception of the fridge, which is about two years old. You get in-suite laundry and baseboard heat, and the space stays comfortably cool through the summer.
Access is private. You come in through a side gate and down a lit gravel pathway that leads to the backyard and your own entrance. We didn't cut corners building this one. All the shared walls have sound deadening insulation, and we used fire separation and sound suppression drywall throughout.
The suite sits below the main level of our home. It's just my wife and me upstairs, along with our cat and our Australian Shepherd. Every now and then you might hear a faint tapping of her nails on the floor if she gets a little excited when someone new comes to the door. Beyond that, you really shouldn't hear much of us.
Parking is on the street and there is typically lots of options.
Rent is $1,500 per month, all in. That includes every utility plus a hardwired internet connection to the suite. We have smoke sensitivities, so this is a non-smoking household and we're looking for a tenant who keeps it that way.
